Venetian glass has been produced in Venice, typically on the island of Murano since the 13th century. Today, Murano is well known for its production of ornate distinctive, and high-quality art glass.The Michele collection honors the owner of a traditional family-owned business that has operated in Murano for decades. Michele was raised in the house that, today, hosts his own factory.

Michele is Akua Objects' most Venetian inspired collection, introducing Italian carafes, vases and bowls with a poetic reference. All objects are original creations made strictly by hand by expert artisans, according to the ancient Murano tradition.
